How to use the free CareHQ App through the Southern Cross App

 

CareHQ gives you access to virtual GP appointments through Southern Cross Health Society.

 

Step-by-step:

• Download the Southern Cross App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store

• Log in using your Southern Cross policy details

• From the home screen, select CareHQ (or Online GP / Virtual GP)

• You’ll be directed to CareHQ

• Book a virtual GP appointment at a time that suits you

• Attend your appointment via video or phone using your device

 

What CareHQ can help with:

• General medical advice

• Prescriptions (where appropriate)

• Medical certificates

• Referrals for further treatment

 

Appointments are quick, convenient, and can be accessed from anywhere in New Zealand.
